Department of Nursing Introduction

Yuan Ze University has partnered with Far Eastern Memorial Hospital to jointly establish a “College of Medicine and Health Sciences,” designating Far Eastern Memorial Hospital as the primary teaching hospital for the college. In response to current trends, the Department of Nursing focuses on nurturing professional nursing personnel who meet the practical needs of the national healthcare system and society—individuals who are competent, trustworthy, and valued by patients and their families.

Additionally, the department integrates bilingual programs in programming languages and English, along with international exchange courses, to cultivate nursing professionals with both bilingual (programming and English) capabilities and a global outlook. These professionals are trained to demonstrate leadership, provide patient-centered care, and deliver smart nursing services that are both compassionate and highly professional.
